Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
Hi, I’m Rachel! I own an eating disorder practice called NurturED Recovery. At NurturED, we are a team of professionals (counsellor + holistic nutritionist) that are collaborating to provide clients with a wrap-around approach to all things eating disorders. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and I offer one-on-one counselling to humans struggling with disordered eating, the binge/restrict cycle, food hierarchies, eating past a comfortable fullness and their relationship with food and eating. I will work with you to uproot preconceived ideas about eating, dieting and losing weight in an environment that is anti-diet and weight/size inclusive. My approach is trauma-informed with an in-depth understanding of eating disorders. I will not suggest meal plans, calorie counting or any form of a diet or exercise program. My goal is to support you in rebuilding your relationship with food so that all foods fit and you are comfortable in the body you're in. I practice from a client-centered approach and believe in meeting each client where they're at. I strongly believe that eating disorders are NOT about the food; together, I’ll help you uncover what is underneath the food to help you achieve food freedom. Working alongside a holistic nutritionist, you will receive tremendous support in healing your relationship with food. We offer a free 15min Connection Call to get started with us! You can book this Connection Call online: https://nurturedrecovery.janeapp.com/
